Diverse Growth

Our team brought together Census data on the largest 17 metros to understand how demographic patterns have changed since 1990. Several metrics were calculated for each metro, with each metro further divided into Urban and Suburban using the Census Places geography.

To view all data for a single MSA, use the "By MSA" viz. You can use the "By Metric" to view a single metric for all metros. The "Map" viz shows metro, urban, and suburban trends across the state, while "Pivot" provides the raw data behind the dashboards.

For help downloading the data behind the dashboard, see our help page.
